On Saturday, 16th August 2025, the Youth Wing of Mamprobi EP Church extended compassion and support to children bravely battling cancer at the Paediatric Oncology Unit of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, in partnership with Cure Childhood Cancer Ghana (CCCG). ❤️🎗️
The visit was graced by Dr. Abigail M. Quist (Pediatric Resident), who warmly welcomed the team and shared valuable insights on childhood cancer and the myths that often surround it. Her presentation not only educated the youth but also dispelled common misconceptions, strengthening awareness and understanding of the disease.
During the visit, the youth and leaders of Mamprobi EP Church spent time with the children in the ward, engaging with them in heartfelt conversations and offering words of encouragement. The emotional encounters left a lasting impact on the visitors, reinforcing the importance of hope, community, and compassion in the fight against childhood cancer.
This thoughtful act of kindness highlights the role of faith-based organizations in supporting health initiatives and fostering community-driven impact.
